Hand-eye coordination is important for children because it helps with their overall physical development and can improve their fine motor skills. It can also help with their cognitive development, as it requires concentration and problem-solving skills.

Gross motor skills assist in refining childrens balance, strength, muscle endurance and coordination.

Healthy competition inspires kids to do their best – not just good enough. When children compete they will become more inquisitive, research independently, and learn to work with others.

Cooperative play helps children hone their social skills as they figure out how to negotiate group dynamics. It helps them learn how to collaborate and compromise with others, recognize and respond to others’ feelings, share, show affection, resolve conflicts, and adhere to the rules.

Participating in sports places children in environments where they must communicate with team mates, coaches and opponents. Moreover, they will begin to understand how effective communication can aid in bringing them success.
