Our Enduring Love Affair with Scotland Continued
Our Scottish adventures continued in the second half of 2023.
After the thrills and spills of the scintillating Isle of Arran, June saw the installation team returning to Edinburgh, one of our absolute favourite cities.
Edinburgh Castle is actually built on the site of an extinct volcano?!
Edinburgh was also the first city in the entire world to have its own fire service! Perhaps because it has more parks and trees per head of population than any other city in the UK they needed to make sure they got up and running!
Fox Covert Primary School
First up it was Fox Covert Primary School who welcomed us with open arms. We were certainly made to feel most welcome as we began the playground markings transformation. Have a look at the wonderful results of our endevours below.
Victoria Primary School
A wonderfully sunny July saw as head back up to… yes you’ve guessed it… Edinburgh!
This time we visited the lovely Victoria Primary School!
Have a look at the areas we managed to transform with our markings.
Pitlochry Primary School
August saw us head further North again!
We had the pleasure of traveling to one of Scotland’s most beautiful and vibrant places – Pitlochry! With it’s rich clan history, one of the best theatres in the UK and fabulous hospitality it’s certainly well worth a visit.
We worked closely with Pitlochry Primary School on transforming their play area, the pictures below show the results of our collaboration.
Braidbar Primary School
A mild September for 2023 saw us venture back up to Glasgow on a lovely dry and reasonably sunny day.
We installed a bespoke Daily Mile at Braidbar Primary School.

Quarry Brae Primary School
A few weeks later and it was time to put our kilts on again and head up to Quarry Brae Primary School in Glasgow.
Billy Connolly once said “there are two seasons in Scotland: June and Winter”…we must have been lucky as we had blue skies and lots of local hospitality!
Take a look at this selection of markings we installed at Brae Primary School.
St Albert’s Primary School
Glasgow welcomed us again in October as we headed up to St Albert’s Primary School.
Working closely with the school the team put together an inspirational Bicycle Track with some Traffic Lights and a Zebra Crossing.
As October was about to draw to a close we had one final 2023 trip North to one of Scotland’s best known New Towns, Cumbernauld. One of the most famous residents being Jon Fratelli from the Fratellis!
Here’s a selection of the playground markings we installed at the school in Cumbernauld.
