Mind the Gap – Mind the Step – Western Rail
first4playgrounds recently signed a contract with Western Rail to supply the “Mind the Gap” & “Mind the Step” for the platform edges of the stations along the Western Rail line.
“Mind the Gap” is an audible or visual warning phrase issued to rail passengers to take caution while crossing the horizontal gap between the train door and the station platform. The phrase was first introduced in 1968 on the London Underground in the United Kingdom.
Western Rail recently issued an order to supply all the stations along the Western Rail line with thermoplastic “Mind the Gap” & “Mind the Step” through first4playgrounds.
The warning sign is 2000mm in width and 275mm in height. With the yellow letters sitting at 225mm.
